The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
